 The Doorman

This story is about Alex and his story about living in a New York apartment building.
He gets close to one of the doorman, who thinks is God. The doorman seems to be able to predict what is going to happen before it does. Other things are going on in Alex's life that make him stop and think what is doing with his life.
After Alex is kept talking to the doorman one morning making him late for work on a day that he becomes grateful for the chance in knowing the doorman. After this day Alex changes the direction of his life.
This is a great short story of how ones life can change when they spend the time to talk to people and learn what is important in life.
This is a great little story that takes you on a journey with the character.

Central Park Song

This is a screenplay about a rich lady from a privileged background who helps out a homeless busker and his friends one day on the way to work. This story takes you on a journey of how people can get stuck on what is expected of them and not what they want to do.
Melinda wants to paint with everything she has but that is not what is expected of her. When she runs into Rodney and he helps her discover what she needs to do for inspiration in her painting, she finds that she doesn't know what she believes in anymore.
This story takes you on a self discovery for both Rodney and Melinda.
The emotion of the story takes you and makes you feel for both characters.
